So my newest addiction: spontaneous road trips. I love them. We've done quite a few of them. I think I need to do quite a few more of them.
This one was to El Paso

My sister's family recently moved to El Paso, which is only a mere 6 1/2 hours and a tank of gas from Farmington. Coming from Buffalo, we're practically neighbors. On Wednesday night Ben said he was bored of doing stuff around the house. So, we left for El Paso at ten on Thursday morning. It was fun to play with cousins (and their parents), make fires, and be outside in the warm weather.
That is Mexico in the distance. Juarez to be exact. I am scared of that place, but it makes for a good picture.

We got in a little mountain biking.

And some marshmallow roasting

And this little guy happened to be asleep whenever I took pictures, so I took a picture of him on the drive home. This was the grin I got everytime I looked back at him.

And Ben, former Texas Missionary, got his Blue Bell ice cream in TEXAS for the first time since he left. It was definitely as good as he said it was.

Thanks Alisha, Jamon, Jocelyn, Scarlett, and Bradley for the fun weekend!

I know, Bluebell ice cream is divine. It is one of the best things about living in Texas. The homemade vanilla ice cream is the best and so close to the actual homemade taste. Yum!
Oh how fun! I love how spontanious you guys are. We're thinking of moving to El Paso next year. Crazy huh? Juarez scares me too! But we may also move to Albuqurque? How do you spell that? I'm glad you guys are doing good. Of course you'd be good anywhere you went!
we miss you guys. I keep showing Henry pictures of Dayton so he doesn't forget him. He keeps saying..."Dayton is in New Mexico."
how fun! i think a spontaneous road trip sounds like a good idea. :)
Ohhh look how fun and there is sun! It seems like it was just yesterday you left, but if you ask me June can't get here fast enough ") I think you should take a road trip to Zion's in the fall and we'll meet you there.
