BLOG!!! Sadly, this is not my first choice so it's taken 3 weeks of Ben's mid-week absense to catch up. Well, here is the story of our mid-May adventure:
So, what do you do when you find out you have a week off? Well, I would suggest deciding, in about 15 minutes, to take a 12 1/2 hour drive with a baby to somewhere you've never been (aka. Outer Banks, North Carolina), call the Steenbliks who jump right on the crazy-King wagon, book a last-minute beachfront steal- which to Ben's surprise did not include cockroaches, and DEFINITELY bring red vines!

Cape Hatteras Light House- this was one of our favorite attractions (and beaches). This is the tallest lighthouse in North America. Unfortunately, our camera viewing screen broke, so here are two of the best pictures of the top and ground levels!

How fun!!! When are you guys headed up to Utah again. So last Sunday we are in church and realized that we are in Ben's parents ward! Kind of funny! Sure looks like you guys are having a blast back east!!
I love how you guys are always having fun. Can't wait till we get to have fun with you in August.
How fun! We really need to go on a vacation (not to Utah). How is Buffalo? Has it warmed up yet?
Way to be spontaneous. Looks like so much fun. Made me jealous--I want to live somewhere more exotic.
