Halloween

We love Halloween and it was especially fun watching Dayton this year. He loves frogs and after "practicing" wearing his frog costume for a few days, wanted to wear it all the time. He loved the costumes and got the hang of trick-or-treating pretty quick. He'd walk up to the door, hold out his bag, take the candy, then walk away saying "tank you". Oh, and he's really good at eating the candy too (although we help him as much as we can)

Last Wednesday we realized we had a 3-day weekend, so, like we do, we planned a last-minute road trip to MAINE!!! It was a little chilly- but nothing some sweatshirts and umbrellas couldn't handle. We LOVED the lobster . . . but, it made Dayton cry (and us laugh . . . mean parents). Dayton climbed on LOTS of rocks, waded in the really-cold water, and got thrown in the air (for tradition's sake). We went on some beautiful hikes and saw the leaves starting to change, drove around the ocen mansions in Kennebunk, and, of course, we watched this cool kite surfer.
